Everyone is welcome to join our services, no matter what creed or faith you may have.
Membership of York Spiritualist Centre is open to all those who accept the Spiritualist philosophy based on the Seven Principles. Our annual subscription for membership is £10.
People accepted into membership initially become Associate Members and after 6 months may be invited by the committee to become a Full Member.
Full Members can attend and vote at our members meetings, have a say in how the Centre is run, have priority booking and discounted entry when attending workshops and seminars. Membership also allows you to borrow books from the Centre library.
If you are a regular attendee, why not set up a direct debit with the centre and become a VIP member?
The benefits of having a regular direct debit are:
- You will be exempt from Sunday collections and last Sunday in the month entrance fee – no more last minute hunting for coins!, (any contributions are on a voluntary basis).
- You will have free access to refreshments.
- You will have peace of mind knowing your Sunday admissions are paid in advance.

Spiritualists can also become individual members of the Spiritualist National Union which entitles them to vote at regional and national meetings, and access a range of training schemes and support from The Spiritualist National Union.
