The York Spiritualist Centre exists to give evidence of the continuity of consciousness and life beyond the death of the physical body, to demonstrate over time all forms of mediumship, to offer services, healing evenings, courses and workshops which are open to all, to be a meeting place for people of like mind and spiritual direction, to assist spiritual growth and understanding, to offer spiritual healing to those who ask for it, to help develop and support the intuitive, psychic and mediumistic abilities that all people have, though to different degrees, and to help train up a new generation of mediums and spiritual healers.
